Our late founding board member, Sister Martha Milner, a Catholic nun with the order of Sisters of Mercy for 57 years was the co-founder Mercy Housing and Human Development and helped to root us in serving the needs of the poor, homeless and jobless. We sponsor financial literacy workshops,  work with churches and food kitchens and support small businesses and workforce development training.
