ENVIRONMENTAL

EEECHO has dealt with the  recurring, disproportionate environmental injustices repeatedly confronting predominantly BIPOC communities. When efforts fail to reconcile our concerns with  regulatory agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency and Mississippi Department (EPA) of Environmental Quality (MDEQ, we take all necessary actions, including litigation, to ensure the environmental protection of those we serve. We continue our attempts to work closely with local, state and federal governments. It is our goal to address the root causes of disproportionate systemic environmental injustices and advocate for changes,  such as in local zoning.
