COMMUNITY ADVOCACY
DEFENDING GLOSTER
When industrial polluter Drax (Amite BioEnergy) exposed the residents of Gloster, Mississippi, to hazardous air emissions, EEECHO stepped in to support and empower the local community. Working alongside grassroots partners like Greater Greener Gloster, MS ACLU, Earthjustice and regional coalitions, EEECHO helped organize community forums, mobilize residents for regulatory hearings, and amplify local voices demanding clean air, corporate accountability, and environmental justice.
